Creating an Organization

Organizations are the container for team collaboration in Praxl. To create one, open the web app at go.praxl.app, go to Settings → Organizations, and click "Create organization". Give it a name and you are ready to invite members.

Each Pro subscription supports one organization with up to 10 members. The account holder automatically becomes the organization owner.

Inviting Members

Invite team members by email from the organization settings page. Each invite includes a role assignment. The invited person receives an email with a link to join - they can sign up for a free account if they do not already have one.

Invite flow:
1. Go to Settings → Organizations → Members
2. Click "Invite member"
3. Enter their email address
4. Select a role (admin, member, or viewer)
5. Click "Send invite"

Pending invites appear in the members list with a "Pending" badge. You can revoke an invite before it is accepted.

Roles & Permissions

Every organization member has one of four roles:

RolePermissions
OwnerFull control - manage billing, delete the org, change any member's role, and all admin permissions.
AdminInvite and remove members, manage shared skills, configure sync targets, and all member permissions.
MemberCreate, edit, and delete their own skills. View and fork shared skills from the organization library.
ViewerRead-only access to the shared skill library. Cannot create, edit, or delete skills.

There must always be at least one owner. Ownership can be transferred to another admin from the organization settings.

Shared Skill Libraries

Organizations have a shared skill library that all members can access. Skills have three visibility levels:

  • Private - only visible to the skill owner. This is the default for all new skills.
  • Shared - visible to all organization members. Members can view, fork, and sync the skill. Only the owner and admins can edit the original.
  • Published- shared with the organization and available for one-click import. Published skills appear in the organization's skill catalog.

To share a skill, open it in the editor, click the visibility dropdown, and select "Shared" or "Published". The skill immediately becomes available to your team.

Member Limits

The Pro plan ($5/month) includes one organization with up to 10 members. This includes all roles - owners, admins, members, and viewers all count toward the limit.
